Help Us Support Women and Children

On Friday, we were contacted by a local women’s shelter we support, urgently requesting help. They have 23 emergency rooms for women and children fleeing domestic abuse, but right now they have no funding, no donations, and nothing to give families when they arrive. Many of these women and children escape with only the clothes they are wearing due to the dangerous situations they are fleeing.

They have asked us to provide Emergency Set‑Up Packs, which include a duvet, pillow, and sheets. Our Charity at Home donations pot is currently empty, and we cannot respond to this urgent need without help from donors.

Just £20 will provide an Emergency Set‑Up Pack, and £25 will provide this and an essentials kit containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet roll, deodorant, a hairbrush, shampoo, and conditioner. We do have some leftover donated Vital Women and Baby Packs, but if you’d also like to donate towards these, they are £12.
