You will receive an email confirmation within 10 days (please check your junk folder), our team will then start the process, once completed you will receive a feedback report with further details and images.

UPDATE: All Solar Wells donated by November 2026, will have their feedback report received IN Ramadan 2026. We work closely with the team on the ground to make the process as quick as possible, whilst ensuring quality work.

The common depth of our wells is a minimum of 300 feet, depending on when we reach clean water.

Although it is impossible to give an exact lifespan, our wells will average 15 years, minimum.

Our ground team will cover all repairs, up to 10 years. The family who is gifted the well is given contact details, to be able to report any maintenance issues. So far, we have not experienced any issues reported, with the project running since 2023.

Once finished, you will receive a feedback report with further information on your well including a location pin, images and a short video of the well in use, captured by our build team.

We ask donors to allow our field team to make this decision, as they are aware of where the most need is at the time of the donation.

Ideally, way say or one or two full names, along with a short message such as "In Memory of". Although there are no restrictions on how much text can be put on the plaque, this will affect readability and result in the font size being smaller than the images you may have seen on our website and social media. Please note we are unable to accommodate images, symbols, any other language than English, or anything that may be deemed offensive.

If no name for a water well is given in the ‘notes section’ when donating, Greengate Trust will set the plaque to the name the donation was made in.
