Details:

Job title: Office Coordinator

Hours: Full time (35 hours a week)

Location: Oldham – Hybrid working, in office three days a week

Salary: TBC

Holiday: 28 days plus bank holidays pro rate

    We have been successfully working in Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon, Malawi and here in the UK. TeamGGT have provided essentials such as food, water, medical equipment, and education as well as developing sustainable projects. Our skilled local teams are able to access some of the most hard-to-reach places in the world, at their most vulnerable of times.

    About You:

    We are looking for someone to join our small team and help make a difference. Looking for someone who has experience in an office environment, performing admin tasks in line with our policies procedures, whilst being the main line of communication across staff, partners, and donors. Experience in the charity sector is not necessary, as you will receive full training. However, it is desirable and the right person must demonstrate the right ethos and understanding of our projects and beneficiaries.

    Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Record and process keeping
    • Organisation of office maintenance
    • On-site coordination of processes and procedures
    • Donor communication including inbox ownership
    • Diary and calendar coordination
    • Overseeing health, fire and safety procedures and making sure they are adhered to
    • Staff rota including processing holidays and sickness
    • UK and volunteer projects coordination
    • Overseeing invoices and order as necessary
    • Undertaking any additional administrative responsibilities to support the wider team
    • Payroll submission

     

    Essential Attributes:

    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Responsible and reliable including excellent time keeping
    • Able to attend the Oldham office three days a week
    • Experience of Teams and Microsoft applications
    • Be able to work a part of a team and independently
    • Take initiative of own workload and time management
    • Experience leading a team
    • Willing to have a DBS check and complete any relevant training as required

     

    Desirable Attributes

    • Experience of payroll
    • Basic knowledge of the Muslim charity sector, however full training will be given
    • Access to own transport
    • Experience of CRM systems
