Al Karimia Masjid Renovation Appeal – £30,000

We are raising £30,000 to renovate and improve Al Karimia Masjid, helping to renew the House of Allah and create a cleaner, brighter and more welcoming space for our community.

The masjid is in need of a number of important repairs and improvements throughout the building. The renovation will include work across the main prayer hall, entrance and lobby, corridors, lower hall, offices, stairways, bathrooms and other areas of the masjid.

The work includes painting and decorating, wall and ceiling repairs, new ceiling panels, window boards, skirting and door-frame work, shoe-storage improvements, seating, decorative finishes, acoustic panels, tiling and general repairs. Alongside this, we also have further major works including the main prayer area renovation, electrical work, lighting, roofing and other essential improvements to the building.

Our aim is not simply to make the masjid look better, but to restore and improve it properly so it can continue serving the community for many years to come, Insha’Allah.

Al Karimia Masjid is a place for Jumu’ah, Qur’an, Islamic education, Ramadan, Taraweeh, gatherings and community activities. By contributing towards its renovation, you are helping maintain a place where salah will be prayed, Qur’an will be recited, children will learn and the remembrance of Allah will continue.

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” — Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

Our total fundraising target is £30,000, which will go towards the different renovation, repair and improvement works required throughout the masjid.
