Winter is a time of uncertainty for those who have to survive on the streets.
No one should have to face freezing temperatures without the basic items needed to stay warm, dry, and safe. Our Essential Winter Kits are carefully designed to provide immediate support to those living on the streets.
How We Support
Each year, we take to the streets as the weather starts to become colder, and speak directly with people experiencing homelessness, asking what they need most. We then adapt our kits based on their feedback.
This year, thermal socks have been the single biggest request. A simple item many of us take for granted can make a real difference to someone vulnerable.
Our cup of kindness campaign
Alongside our winter kit distribution, our dedicated outreach team regularly visit areas where homelessness is high throughout the winter months.
More than just a hot drink, our Cup of Kindness Campaign provides warmth, human connection, and an opportunity to check on the welfare of vulnerable individuals. For many, that conversation and support can be a lifeline.
A hot drink may seem small, but it can remind someone that they have not been forgotten.
How you can help
Every donation helps us reach more people, distribute more essential supplies, and continue adapting our support to meet the real needs of those experiencing homelessness.
£10 can help provide essential items that could help someone survive a night on the streets.
£3 can provide a Cup of Kindness, offering warmth, comfort, and a vital moment of human connection.
Or sign up to volunteer and join our outreach programme and help us deliver winter kits, offer hot drinks, and bring compassion to those facing the harsh realities of life on the streets.
