I will be traveling to Lebanon this December to deliver aid directly to refugees and families in desperate need. Many communities there are facing extremely harsh living conditions—limited access to food, heating, medical care, and safe shelter—especially as winter approaches. In Islam, giving (sadaqah) and supporting the oppressed and vulnerable are deeply emphasized acts of worship, reminding us that our blessings are a trust from Allah meant to be shared. This trip is an opportunity to bring relief, dignity, and hope to those who are struggling, and to fulfill an essential moral and spiritual duty.
