Answering questions surrounding the Night of Power

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven ."

[Sahih al Bukhari]

Laylatul Qadr, also referred to as the Night of Power, is the most venerated night of the Islamic calendar. During this night, Angel Jibril revealed the first verses of the Holy Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This night falls within the final 10 days of Ramadan, but its exact date remains unknown. It is, however, widely regarded as falling on the 27th night of Ramadan.

Pledge your donation to be charged on the 27th night and maximise your blessings this Ramadan.

Allah (SWT) has blessed Laylatul Qadr with virtues far beyond human comprehension. As stated in the Qur'an, this night is better than a thousand months. The angels, including Jibril, descend to the Earth with Allah’s mercy, blessings and peace. Reflect on this verse:
"Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments, as a command from Us. Verily, We are ever sending (the Messengers), as a mercy from your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." [Al-Dukhan 44:1-6]

Based on the Islamic calendar and the expectation of the last ten nights, the 27th night of Ramadan in 2026 is expected to fall on the night of March 16th or 17th, depending on the moon sighting.
