The Role
As a trustee, you will hold ultimate legal responsibility for the charity, ensuring that we are compliant, financially sustainable, and focused on maximising our impact for beneficiaries.
We are seeking candidates with the time and energy to help Greengate Trust enter its next phase of growth and expansion. We expect our Trustees to be active partners in driving new strategic ideas, opening doors, and ensuring correct governance.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will embody the values of Greengate Trust and bring a blend of passion and professional expertise. They will hold an understanding of the core humanitarian values that underpin Greengate Trust’s mission.
Strategic Vision: The ability to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the Board to help us innovate in fundraising, aid delivery, and operational efficiency.
Time Commitment: Availability is key to being a trustee. Both to prepare for and attend Board meetings, as well as participate in committee work and strategic planning sessions.
Specifics: We would like to hear from people who have strong corporate and community partnership links and/ or experience within human resources. However, neither is essential!
