Fundraiser Weekend In memory of Aisha Afzal

At Greengate Trust, we are deeply grateful for the incredible support from B&Q Beckton in helping us move closer to our goal of providing safe, clean water to communities in the rural areas of Pakistan.

This generosity is made even more special as it is done as Sadaqah Jariyah and in loving memory of Aisha Ishfaq Afzal.

A special mention to Azraa Ahmed, who successfully organised a wonderful gathering with fun activities and stalls for everyone to enjoy. The stalls included food and sweet treats, face painting, henna stalls and calligraphy art stalls.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we are thrilled to announce that the event raised an amazing £5,000 - and counting!

These wells will provide clean, safe water to communities in Pakistan, making a life-changing impact for families who currently struggle with water scarcity.

Through B&Q’s successful fundraising efforts, we can expand our Water Well Project, ensuring that families in rural areas of Pakistan have access to clean, reliable drinking water. This support will have a lasting impact, helping to reduce waterborne diseases, improve overall health, and give children the chance to focus on education and building brighter futures, free from the burden of unsafe water.
