Greengate Trust – Charity Fundraiser
Details:
Job title: Fundraising
Contract: Full time
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours a week) across 7 days, including evenings and weekends
Location: Oldham, onsite, with travel as needed for the role
Salary Range: £21,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. This role is target-based on expected income generated. Will discuss in detail during the interview stage
About You:
We are looking for someone to join our small team that has proven experience as an effective and professional fundraiser across a range of charity activities and will be able to demonstrate their success. The idea candidate will have experience in all areas of fundraising, from event and challenge management, relationship, and partner building, to recruitment and volunteer management.
We are looking for someone flexible, who thrives in a busy environment, is a confident communicator and is willing to get stuck in and be a key member of the team.
Experience in the charity sector is essential and the right person must demonstrate the right ethos and understanding of our projects and beneficiaries.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
Ownership and experience of payment systems, how they operate etc
Work closely with CRM independent system
Essential Attributes:
Experience as a fundraiser in the charity sector
Direct experience of regularly monitoring KPIs for team activities and key partnerships and projects
Previous experience of reporting successfully, adhering to all policies and processes including H&S and risk assessment
Excellent time management and ability to prioritise your workload
Flexibility in approach to working
Management experience, including volunteers or freelance staff
The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
Experience of building strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively
Understanding of basic policies and procedures and act accordingly
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 programmes
The ability to react to a problem confidently with excellent listening and questioning skills, whilst offering a solution
Willing to have a DBS check and complete any relevant training as required
Desirable Attributes:
Experience in volunteer recruitment, training and retention
Sales and marketing experience
Planning and budgeting skills, understandings how to summarise financial information
Hold a basic knowledge of technology and systems, including sound and AV
Greengate Trust – Video Editor and Social Media Coordinator
Details:
Job title: Video Editor and Social Media Coordinator
Contract: Full time
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours a week) Monday - Friday. May including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the current campaign.
Location: Oldham, mainly onsite, hybrid working to be discussed
Salary Range: £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
About You:
We are looking for someone to join our small team that has proven social media and video editing experience. The idea candidate will have experience in all areas of social media and video, from creating copy, scheduling engaging posts across our sites and taking creative initiative on our video archives to create successful marketing and feedback material.
We are looking for someone who is looking to take their existing skills and use them to create meaningful content, bringing their talents to help achieve the overall charities mission and goals. This person will be a key member of the team who is a confident communicator, is able to take ownership of their work schedule, enjoys what they do and has a positive attitude.
Experience in the charity sector isn’t essential, but the right person must demonstrate the right ethos and understanding of our projects, beneficiaries and campaigns calendar.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ownership of video editing of our current, future and existing material
Create captivating and impactful videos alongside projects
Controlling all our social media sites, creating copy and appropriate visual aids
Scheduling a calendar of relevant and engaging social media posts
Taking lead of creative control, based on the campaigns calendar
Lead on new and exciting concepts that make us stand out from other charities
Grow social media presence and generate more engagement across platforms
Staying up to date and acting on social trends and updates
Scope to support capturing our projects within the UK and abroad, through images and film, based on demand and workload
Essential Attributes:
Experience in similar roles is essential
Proven work experience as a video editor with a portfolio
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetic consistency
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Experienced in copy writing across a range of materials
Ability to create captivating and impactful materials
Excellent time management and ability to prioritise your workload
The ability to be generate new ideas and feedback to the wider team
Flexibility in approach to working
IT skills including Microsoft packages, WordPress, design programmes
The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
Understanding of safeguarding and date protection legislation
Understanding of basic policies and procedures and act accordingly
Willing to have a DBS check and complete any relevant training as required
Desirable Attributes:
Understanding of running ad campaigns across social media platforms
Google Analytics experience
Filming and photography experience
