Mount Snowdon Trek – FAQs

Answers to some questions you may have are below. Upon registering your interest, you will be provided with a further list, which should cover everything you need to know.

What is the usual itinerary of the trek?

 

  • 6am leaving Oldham
  • 10am start
  • 3pm Leave Snowdon
  • 7pm arrive back to Oldham
How do I get to Snowdonia?

A coach will be arranged from Oldham. It will take 4 hours from Oldham to reach our destination and 4 hours back.

Alternatively, you can meet up with us at the start point of the trek in Snowdonia.

Will there be a mix of males and females on the trip?

Yes, several males and females have already registered their interest.

Will the route be easy or difficult?

We will be taking the easier route. Exact trail name to follow.

What is the total length of walk?

4 hours from the bottom till the top of the summit and 4 hours back down.

How and where do we set up a fundraising page? Will GGT set it up this?

What if I am unable to raise £200?

You will be supported in your fundraising efforts to meet the £200 target.

Is the deposit non-refundable?

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.

If GGT cancels the trip for any reason, we will issue a full refund.
